Description:

There might not be a good reason that you can think of, but for some reason you have found yourself trapped in a room and you have to get out.

About The Game:

  • This is a Trivia and Puzzle Game
  • This game was made in a few days over the course of a week for the Dev Squad Jam: One Room

Controls:

  • All you need is a mouse.
  • There is a small options menu to manage volume if needed, "p" or "q" to access it.

About The Development:

My goal for this Jam was to created the whole game on the Canvas/UI Layer. I've been playing some JackBox games lately and was inspired to see what I could do.
My secondary goal was to learn how to use JSON feeds. With a background in webdevelopment I have been itching to give it a try in Unity
I am please to say that I succeeded on all fronts. I'm pretty happy with my results and hope you enjoy it.

Tools:

  • Unity 2018
  • Garage Band
  • Illustrator

Dear developer,

When I played this game I got really curious about the random questions! I’ve never do something like this before. Can you teach me how to do something simular?

It's just JSON data from an API. I used Unity and some JSON parsing logic. There are a ton of videos on YouTube to get you started. I did the same with the photos in the background, they're both just free API's/
